Designing a mural and the idea process. |
|
| This page aims to show you how the design process works for creating your mural. To make this easier I have selected some of the design work that went into creating the Underwater kids bedroom mural. |

| Stage One Initially I will make some sketches and idea boards based on what we have spoken about, this generally lets me get an idea of what your likes and dislikes are and allows me to get a clearer idea of what you have in mind. |

Initial idea sheets of possible characters and groups. These are used for both brain storming and gathering ideas. |
||
| Stage Two This stage sees ideas being put together into various scenes to see what is working. |

Once the ideas sheets have been looked I will start to put it all together to create working scenes. |
||
| Stage Three This involves creating a final artwork for your mural by developing ideas form the initial sketches. By having a choice of designs and being involved in the the process it allows you to have exactly what you want on your walls and a mural that fits your budget. |

At this stage a final artwork is produced for approval. These drawings are to scale to get a clearer idea of how the mural will fit the space. |

The scale drawing will show how the mural fits around the windows and doors. Also if furniture is to be put in the room it's a good idea to consider it at this stage rather than later when the mural has been painted. |
||
| Stage Four Once you are happy with the designs I will get you to sign your approval and I'll get on with the painting. If you would like to talk about your ideas of have any feedback, please get in contact. |

The mural varied slightly from the designs as I feel a mural should take on a life of it's own and evolve with the space. |
